OUR AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

We aim to create a warn environment that is happy, loving and secure for the children at the nursery, to enable each child to develop their full potential. The nursery encourages independence and co-operation, by stimulating children to become competent, taking pride in their achievements, and developing self-confidence.

We consider that a partnership between home and nursery provides the best basis for learning and trust. The nursery will provide appropriate experiences to extend each child's skills. These will include the development of hand eye co-ordination, visual and auditory discrimination, self-expression, and the ability to reason. We will introduce each child to concepts such as shape, colour, number, length and size through play.

We aim to foster imagination through stories, drama, rhymes, music, dance and printing. This is an essential part of our concern for the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of each child.
